Hello,

We are Richard and Josie. We live in Irvine, CA in a home where we have enjoyed decorating and making improvements over the years. My mother lives with us, as do our two cats who get lots of TLC from the three of us.  We love to travel, sometimes to visit with relatives in Oregon, Alabama, or the Philippines, and other times to see scenic destinations such as the Grand Canyon, Canada, or Hawaii.  We also enjoy simple activities such as going to movies or relaxing with a good TV show, taking walks, eating
at good restaurants, listening to music, playing the piano or going to one of the
two lakes in our community where we picnic or rent one of the kayaks or canoes.
Richard is an electrical engineer who specializes in designing computer chips.
He enjoys playing tennis, running, and skiing. He also loves reading and music
and is skilled with computers. Richard grew up in Alabama but has lived his adult
life in Southern California. Although separated by distance from his mother, his
three brothers, and their families, they are a close family and enjoy getting
together whenever possible.

I work as an accountant associate for an electronics company in Newport Beach.
Art is my first interest and you can see my paintings at home, along with
paintings by Richard's mother and brother. I enjoy cooking, decorating the house
and gardening and most of all, spending quality time with Richard. I have also
lived in California most of my life and have many relatives here whom we stay in
close touch with.  We live in a nice neighborhood and our city has excellent schools. We hope for a child that we can love and nurture and help to develop into a well-rounded
person. We have retained Randy Hicks as our attorney to help us with our
