Maggie and Richard

Hello:

It is with joy and hope that we begin this miraculous journey to adopt again. It is a journey that can only start with your loving decision to place your baby with an adoptive family. Our names are Richard and Maggie. We love children and are very excited about adopting a second child! We were blessed to have adopted our daughter Rebecca three years ago. We have never been so happy. We have learned that expanding our family and bringing another child into our loving home is what we want most. We would love to offer your baby a happy and loving home with devoted parents and an adoring big sister.

We have known each other since we were teenagers and have been happily married for over twenty years. Your child would make us the happiest family in the world. We would raise your baby as we were raised, with positive examples, support and encouragement to pursue his or her dreams. Our home is full of hugs and kisses. Of course, your child will grow up knowing that he or she came into our lives because you made  very courageous and loving decision.

We love children and treasure our daughter Rebecca. Family is so important to us. We are close and enjoy being together. Between us, we have our parents, five brothers and sisters (and their spouses), eleven nieces and nephews, and are blessed with many wonderful friends, all very excited to welcome and love a new family member. Richard grew up in California and started a grocery business with his family. My mom and dad settled in New Jersey, where my dad worked as an accountant. We are very close to our families.

Richard is the vice president of his family's grocery business. I am a lawyer specializing in business law. We were both privileged to receive excellent educations and hope to provide our children with the same opportunities we had. Both our careers allow us to work from home. So, when your baby joins our family, one of us will always be at home to care for him or her.

We are active, fun-loving people. We enjoy bicycling, family outings, and gardening. We are members of a local aquarium that has many activities for little ones. We also enjoy picnics on the beach as often as we can. Every time we do, we see larger families with children and think how we would love to add a son or daughter to share our special times. I love to garden, cook and play with Rebecca. We can't wait to have another little one to prepare meals for and to enjoy playing in our beautiful garden. Richard plays the guitar, and I learned the piano as a child. We will support our children in any activities they might enjoy.

The three of us live with our little cat in a large Spanish-style home in a safe and gated neighborhood that is very close to the beach. The neighborhood has a historic park with lots of play areas and gardens and even a small petting zoo for kids to play. Both our parents, and Richard's sister, live only a few blocks away. The schools are excellent and nearby. We are very close to larger parks with playgrounds that are filled with children playing soccer, tennis, and baseball. We've always dreamed of raising children together, and through adoption we are hopeful that our dreams will once again be realized. We are so thankful you are considering us as an adoptive family for your baby. We hope you will want to meet us in person and learn more about us.
