Tara and Nathan

Thank you for reading our story. We already respect and admire you for considering an adoption plan and we are grateful for this opportunity to introduce ourselves. We hope you will find comfort in our sincere dream of raising a child in a happy home filled with unconditional love. We will always have a special place in our hearts for you and all the other birth mothers who are generous and brave enough to give the ultimate gift.

We are in our early thirties and have been married for four and a half years. Although we are very much in love we each other, we are very eager to share our love and our home with a child. We have always dreamed of being parents, but have been  heartbroken by our struggles with infertility.

We believe we share with you the same goal for your unborn child - the best opportunity for a joyful and successful life. We promise you that he or she would be raised in a safe and comfortable home with lots of love and laughter.

We understand that this must be an extremely difficult decision for you. Please know how honored we would feel to be chosen by a birth mother. If given the chance, we would always remember your generosity and sacrifice.

About us…

We live in sunny San Diego, California, which is Nathan's hometown. While we both have lived in many cities, we moved back to San Diego because we feel there is no better place to live and raise a family. Nathan has wonderful memories of growing up with his sister and two brothers in San Diego. They all played sports year-round and loved to go to Sea World, the zoo, and San Diego Padres and Chargers games. And of course, just like every San Diego kid, they loved to spend lots of warm days at the beach. We can't wait to make new memories with a child at all of our favorite local spots. We also look forward to traveling together, spending holidays and vacations with family, and encouraging any hobbies or interests our child might have.

We have many family traditions which we are excited to share with a child. Every summer, Nathan's side of the family gets together at a family beach house for a reunion. At Christmas and other times throughout the year, we spend time in Georgia with Tara's large extended family. A child will be so lucky to have lots of cousins on both sides!

While we have not been blessed with children yet, we feel we live a traditional Christian family lifestyle. Tara is currently a homemaker and hoping soon to be a stay-at-home mom. She sees herself baking cookies, making crafts and reading books with children. Nathan works for a family-owned business in real estate development that allows for free time as needed. He can't wait to coachh kids' soccer teams after school and play catch in the backyard. We also have a small friendly dog named Colby Jack who absolutely loves children.

About Nathan by Tara:

Nathan and I have a relationship that is built on trust, love and communication. He is my best friend who makes me laugh, and is the one I can always count on. I could go on and on about Nathan's hobbies (golf, tennis, reading, fishing, etc) as well as his accomplishments (Bachelors from UCSD, Masters from USC, successful businessman, etc) but I feel that his true virtue lies in his deep sensitivity and generosity to not only myself and our respective families, but to all he encounters. I wish I could fully express in words what would describe the wonderful man that I am lucky enough to call my husband.

As great as he is, Nathan has a small indulgence; he loves sports! This is especially true when it comes to USC and the Chargers, so needless to say we watch a ton of TV during football season and go to games any chance we get. He truly is a genuine, honest and loyal person. He will make an incredible and wonderful father.

About Tara by Nathan:

Tara is a fun loving person that loves life. She believes in honesty, acceptance, and unconditional love. What I admire most in her is the values that have been passed along generation to generation in her family. Born and raised in Georgia, Tara represents everything good you hear about southern hospitality, tradition, and culture. She is kind, nurturing, generous, trustworthy, considerate, and above all, compassionate.

Tara has a bachelor's degree in sociology. She currently is very active in the community and spends her time volunteering at various charities. She also enjoys exercising, hiking, and playing sports.

I cannot imagine a better parenting partner than Tara. There is no doubt in my mind that she will make an exceptional mother. She has always wanted to be a mother and loves children. Any child will be fortunate and blessed to call her mom.

Warm wishes...
